The glazing on this Gardman Greenhouse is 4mm Twinwall Polycarbonate which is 20 times stronger than Horticultural Glass - this makes it very safe, and therefore is ideal for areas where children or the elderly may be present. It is UV-stabilised, so it doesn't go yellow or cloudy like PVC or polythene does. This also insulates 40% better than glass, and although the light transmission is less than glass, the light is diffused and therefore reaches parts of the greenhouse which light through glass cannot.

The Ridge Height is 6'9" (2060mm) and the Height on the sides (Eaves) is 4'4" (1315mm), including the 5" High Base.

Gardman greenhouses have their own factory that produce these greenhouses. The frame is identical to a Halls Popular Greenhouse, but Gardman have designed some extra clips to hold the glazing sheets in place, and increased the sheet width by 7mm, to 617mm, for a better fit. They have also added PVC strips to the ends of each sheet, to help strengthen the sheets even further and seal them from the elements. We like the Gardman greenhouse, and it is currently our best-selling polycarbonate-glazed greenhouse range.
