This 160 Watt heater is designed to be either switched on or off at the plug, but can be wired into a thermostat if you require the heater to maintain a certain temperature. This heater can be controlled by wiring it into one of our Thermostats, if you don't want it to be left on continually.

When comparing with other tube heaters, please bear in mind that this heater comes ready wired with Heat-Resistant SIHF Silicone Rubber Insulated cable and 3 pin-plug - many tube heaters will require you to open the heater and connect the wiring or employ an electrician. Many tube heaters are also designed to run on 110Volts and not 240Volts. This heater is powered by UK 240Volts mains power.
