Why should I buy a Gardman Greenhouse?

Gardman greenhouses are great value and are safe because they are glazed with almost unbreakable polycarbonate sheets. This means that they are ideal for areas where safety is a primary concern. Gardman polycarbonate greenhouses are made from an aluminium framework which is enamelled in dark green, so that they always look great, and will last for a long, long time.

What is Polycarbonate Glazing?

Twinwall Polycarbonate is made from polymers, extruded into hollow sheets, and has great impact resistance and temperature resistance. It has a better insulator than glass, so helps to reduce heating costs of a greenhouse. Because it has slightly less light transmission than glass, it helps to avoid plant scorch in the summer. The gardman greenhouses use 4mm thick twinwall polycarbonate greenhouse glazing sheets.

What makes the Gardman Greenhouse range special?

Gardman have designed small stainless steel clips that help keep the polycarbonate glazing in place, and also provide PVC sealing strips to fit on to the edges of the glazing sheets. Because this greenhouse range was designed to be glazed only with 4mm Twinwall Polycarbonate, these features are not found on other polycarbonate greenhouses, most of which were designed to be glazed with glass. Gardman have made the glazing sheets 7mm wider than other greenhouse glazing, for a better secure fit.
