	Acrylic / Perspex / PlexiglassAcrylic is 10 times stronger than normal horticultural glass which is used in most greenhouses. It is completely clear just like glass, it is shatterproof, and is often referred to as Perspex or Plexiglass. Acrylic sheet can be cut with a fine-bladed saw or jigsaw. Acrylic has UV resistance built-in, so it will not go yellow or cloudy. The thicker the sheet, the stronger it is. We stock 2mm, 3mm and 4mm - our most popular thickness is 3mm, as this is most commonly used for greenhouses.
